Pink October
Pink October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in France and many countries around the world. Each year, the entire month of October is dedicated to the fight against this disease and promoting prevention, with the aim of reducing the risk of mortality.
In addition to raising awareness about screening, Pink October raises vital funds to finance research, break down taboos, and improve support for those affected and their loved ones. This support includes supportive care, psychological support, and adapted physical activities.
The fight against breast cancer requires a collective commitment. This is why, during this month of mobilisation, Ijinus wishes to participate in its own way in this important cause and donate 6% of the proceeds from sales of LNR06V4-LE Pink sensors to the association « A chacun son Everest !
Support the À Chacun son Everest association
“À Chacun son Everest !” is dedicated to supporting people facing cancer. Their mission is essential: they help children with cancer or leukemia, and women in remission from breast cancer, to face the delicate phase of post-cancer .
Through its work, the association helps them regain confidence, zest for life, and a new lease on life. For over 30 years, it has offered children and women affected by the disease a fully supported stay to help them rebuild their lives.
Each year, the association offers 6 weeks of courses dedicated to children with cancer or leukemia, and 24 weeks of stays for women in remission from breast cancer. These stays in Chamonix are fully covered by the association. Since 1994, the association has welcomed 5,046 children (365 courses completed) and since 2011, 2,492 women (209 stays completed).
By joining the Ijinus operation, you are helping to offer these women and children an unforgettable week of strength, hope and rebirth .
Together, let’s transform lives!
